   Wizkid has emerged as the celebrity with the highest number of followers on twitter, this he achieved with his level headedness, humility and constitency plus the love and believe Nigerians have for him and his music. Wizkid is talented no doubt. He now has more than 610,000 followers compare to Don Jazzy’s 478,000 and the rate at which he’s going, he will hit the 1million mark soon, becoming the first home based Nigerian entertainer to achieve such feat.

This write up is not to discredit or condemn other celebrities, but to tell them that the society that made them still expects something from them, especially those of them who have the mindset of….I don’t need them, they are just running after me! We did a brief research on the level of interactions between our celebrities and their followers on twitter and what we found out was amazing.

Ali Baba (Real names: Atunyota Alleluia Akpobome) and Don Jazzy (Michael Collins) top the chat with the highest number of follows-back and interaction with followers. The king of comedy and the ace music producer have won the hearts of Nigerians on twitter, they follow back, mention, shout-out, re-tweet and also advise their followers.
